Jim Stallings is an American musician who played bass with the Sir Douglas Quintet and had a successful single as a solo artist with "Heya". As J.J. Light, though another 11 songs recorded for a second album were not released until 2008.

In 2019, Stallings achieved greater success when he made recordings with Jeremy Barnes and his associates as well as performing at venues around the state.
